Victoria Gold Sovereigns

Victoria was the Queen of Great Britain between 1837 and 1901 and she was the Empress of India between 1876 and 1901. She was the only child of George III’s fourth son.  In 1840 she married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and had four sons and five daughters. Her husband died in 1861 and she went into a lengthy period of seclusion and neglecting her duties. She regained her popularity however when she became Empress of India. She was succeeded by her son Edward VII.
